Upon arrival in Kathmandu, Tribhuwan International Airport, I receive you with private vehicle and transfer to home stay in Kathmandu located near by Thamel. Then I will give you an information about further programs. As upon your request, we go to short walk around old city area.
All aspects of gear and conditions are discussed to make sure you're fully prepared for the trip. After lunch we explore this medieval capital city Kathmandu. Being a professional and licensed holder guide, I will take you for full day sightseeing such as Boudhanath stupa, also known as little Tibet. Then we visit Pasupatinath, holy temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, Hindu where cremation takes place by the holy river Bagmati. Later we visit Swayambhunath stupa known as monkey temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square the city of glory where you can explore living goddess. And transfer to home stay.
We start our journey into the hills through the winding roads along the Trishuli River. We see more of countryside of Nepal that offers greenery, rivers, villages, farms and beautiful mountain scenarios. An-hour's drive from Besisahar takes us to Khudi, the starting point of our trek. Alternatively, we can get off at Besisahar, and then trek for an hour to get to Ngadi .
Our first day`s walk involves crossing a few suspension bridges, waterfalls, several up and down hill sections across rice paddies and subtropical forest along with the views of Manaslu Himalayan ranges and overnight stay at Chyamche.
This is the day to get entry in Manang region. Will see the forests of bamboo and rhododendrons, crossing the village Tal, will see the group of donkey caravan. Overnight stay at Dharapani.
Easy slope uphill till Khodo. We then walk through a forest till Chame, its Buddhist monastery, hot water source and the view of Manaslu make it a very pleasant vilalge to stay in.
Crossing of the Marsyangdi river. We pass by important apple orchards and numerous prayer walls. The valley slowly becomes wider. The village Pisang is separated in tweo. The upper part’s architecture is typical of the valley with its flat roofs. We have a lovely view of the Annapurna II, the Pisang Peak and the Chulu.
We leave the classic trail and climb to the north of Pisang village. As we climb up the Annapurna glaciers and surrounding summits appear, what an amazing site it is ! We can even see serac falls on the other side of the valley at the higher altitudes. If you are strong enough, you might explore the Pisang Base Camp.
We go uphill til we reach a narrow pathway on the flanks of the Annapurna II. We then walk on flat land till Hongre. The village has an airstrip. After three hours of whike we arrive in Manang, 3300m. View of the Annapurnas II and III and IV, Manaslu and Pisang Peak.
Today is the scheduled acclimatization day. It is not recommended to stay idle but a short walk to higher altitude is suggested to get acclimatized with the altitude. Bhojo Gompa or Gangapurna Lake is worth visiting sites from acclimatization point of view. Further, we pay an easy excursion to a little distance away to a village called Vraga, upon where we will be at a village's monastery. Overnight at Manang.
After breakfast, climbs to a village of Tenki above Manang. The trail further passes near the small village of Ghunsa, a cluster of flat mud roofs just below the trailhead. Overnight at Yak Karka.
We make our way to the foot of the pass, Throng Phedi today. Thorong Phedi is a small busy settlement catering to the needs of tired trekkers and climbers. Eventhough, we will have a tough day tomorrow, we stop at Thorong Phedi so that we can sleep sound rather than a risky sleep in higher altitude at High Camp. Overnight at Thorong Phedi.
Yes, this is the climax of Annapurna Circuit Trekking Tour, a lifetime memorable experience after crossing Thorongla pass, 5416m, not an easy hiking of Nepal. Then we will reach to Muktinath a historical pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhist. Overnight at Muktinath.
During morning, we visit to Vishnu Temple and Gompa. Descending from Ranipauwa village down the steep and barren hillside, we tumble down toward Kagbeni and then to Jomsom finally arriving at Marpha, a apple capital in Nepal and for local apple brandy. Overnight at Marpha. .
From Marpha village, we take a new route toward Kalopani via Chokhopani village. Today, we come across traditional villages of the ethnic Thakali people. Also, we get to see apple gardens. Waiting here is the 360 degrees panorama of Himalayan peaks: Dhaulagari, Tukuche Peak, the three Nilgiris, Fang and Annapurna I. Overnight at Kalopani. .
After breakfast, we take a new route to Tatopani from Kalopani. The journey is mostly downhill. We cross the bridge at Ghasa. As we drop to lower elevations, we emerge back into subtropical forests, lush with vegetation. Upon reaching Tatopani, we relax and have a bath in the hot spring. .
While walking, we observe the lifestyle of the people in the midland villages of Nepal. Ghara and Sikha are the villages with terraced and inclined farmlands. We gradually walk steep up to gradient Ghorepani. Overnight at upper Ghorepani village.
Early in the morning we will hike to Poon Hill to see the panoramic views of Himalayan range with sunrise. This would be spectacular and crystallize mountains surrounded to you with including Annapurna South (7219m), Machhapuchre (6997m), Dhaulagiri (8167m), Nilgiri (6915m) and many more..We return back to lodge for hot breakfast, then descends down to Hile village with stone steps in downhill. Hile village offers green sceneries of Rice terraces, forests and as well as local village. After Lunch, we walk downhill to Nayapool where TAXI is waiting for us. Than it takes about 1:30 hours to get Pokhara few lake side. At evening, you can farewell to your trekking Sherpa porters giving something as Tips.
Drive to Kathmandu by tourist bus 6 hours and transfer to hotel Kathmandu. We drive together until your hotel. After your arrival into the hotel, the rest of teh time you can manage to go for shopping or relaxing or reading books. or if you want to have some sightseeing or additional tour activities with me, just let me know. However at evening , short discussion about the whole trip feedback and suggestion. Trip finished however if you wish to have more activities then kindly request us.
